Dedicated to Aamir Khan's hit TV show - 'Satyamev Jayate' - the shelter is considered to be one of the biggest for young girls and women in India. The actor also launched a DVD of the show which dealt with social issues.

The NGO Snehalay's new centre in Ahmednagar is dedicated to Aamir Khan's TV show 'Satyamev Jayate' and thus called Satyamev Bhavan. While Aamir is not associated with the organisation, he inaugurated it on Republic Day.
