Aamir Khan starts work on next season of Satyamev Jayate
After tackling issues such as female infanticide, the state of our police force and the importance of waste management, the first part of Aamir Khan’s show ended recently.
Not one to rest on his laurels, the actor has already started burning the midnight oil putting together the second part of the current season. The first part of the second season ended on Sunday (March 30) and the series will resume in July.
A source close to Aamir reveals, "The show touched upon some sensitive issues, and also looked at some possible solutions to the problems. Now that part one has ended, Aamir has already busied himself with the research of the episodes for part two. He will not be taking a break between the two tranches of the show."
This season, the show will be aired in three parts spread over 2014, with the third part rumoured to be aired in October. The source adds, "The second part of this season will be aired in the month of July. Aamir and his team have already begun working round the clock as they want to find more lesser-known social issues. The topics of the show will be disclosed only when it goes on air.” The source says that Aamir wants to shoot the episodes soon but hasn’t yet give out too much information.
